Phuchettar Shepa, a trekking guide from Solukhumbu's Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality 1 Buksa, was discovered dead in Gorkha's Larke Pass area. Phuchettar Sherpa, 39, had gone missing in the area for 5 days after embarking on a trek with Khumbu Sangrila Tech & Expedition Pvt Ltd. The Everest Heli rescue team rescued today (Tuesday) at approximately 11 a.m. Gorkha police chief Kedar Khanal said his body was taken to Kathmandu's Maharajganj Teaching Hospital for a postmortem.
The Sherpa, who went on a trek with two French citizens, went missing while returning. According to the police, there was a problem in the search for the missing person for four days due to snowfall in the area. Simrik and Everest Helicopter were used for the search mission. Sherpa has a son and a daughter.
