Chungba, a wildlife photographer who confirmed the presence of wild yaks in Nepal, was honored by the Prime Minister. Sherpa, a 62-year-old wildlife photographer from Khumbu Pasang lhamu Rural Municipality, was honored for his contribution to wildlife photography. Sherpa presented the picture of the wild yak that he had taken to various government agencies and ministers.
He said that he was happy to be honored by the Prime Minister and said, "This is my third honor in 40 days. This encouragement has given me the courage to do more work in wildlife photography. He is also a tourism businessman and retired after working in Yeti Airlines for a long time. Sherpa turned to wildlife photography to show off his leisure life.
Some time ago, Sherpa managed to photograph a very rare wild Chauri (Yak) at Lapcha in Humla. Earlier, it was claimed that there is no such yak in Nepal.
