284 Climbers from 44 Countries Set to Ascend Himalayan Peak
In an unprecedented development, the Department of Tourism has granted expedition permits to 284 climbers from 44 different countries for the upcoming Mount Manaslu expedition during this year's autumn season (from Aswin to Kartik). This includes 60 women and 224 men who are poised to embark on this challenging journey.
Mount Manaslu, towering at an impressive 8,163 meters, has drawn the attention of adventurers from across the globe, making the autumn season the most sought-after period for this Himalayan ascent.
A remarkable 23 expedition groups have received authorization for Mount Manaslu, signifying the growing popularity of this awe-inspiring peak among mountaineers. Among the fortunate climbers are 60 women and 224 men, highlighting the diverse and inclusive nature of this year's expedition.
In an effort to ensure the safety and success of the climbers, the responsibility of rope fixing has been entrusted to "Imagine Nepal." Under the guidance of Dawa Futi Sherpa, the manager of Imagine Nepal, a skilled team of mountaineers has already reached the base camp of Mount Manaslu, commencing preparations for this challenging ascent.
As adventurers from around the world gather for this epic undertaking, the spotlight falls on the Himalayas once again, where nature's grandeur meets human determination in the pursuit of mountaineering excellence.
