The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has issued a stern warning against the operation of drones, kites, and the use of laser lights in and around Tribhuvan International Airport. The authority has taken this step due to serious concerns regarding the safety of flights.
Activities such as flying kites, drones, and directing laser lights in the vicinity of the airport can create hazardous situations during the takeoff and landing of aircraft. Therefore, the authority has requested that all such activities be avoided or ceased during the flight operations.
The authority has emphasized that engaging in such activities is not only prohibited but also subject to strict legal action in accordance with prevailing laws. Violators will be notified through an official notice if found involved in any of these activities.
